Animals arrive and leave daily, so please CALL for current stock availability, prices, shipping, etc., before sending money. We're happy to answer questions about our stock by phone if you call between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday.

 

   Full payment prior to shipping is our policy, except to recognized zoos and institutions, which have 30 days to remit balance. Payment must be made in U.S. funds in the form of credit card (VISA, MC, Amex, Discover), money orders, cashier's checks, cash, or wire transfers.

   Florida residents must add 7% sales tax or supply a signed tax number card.

   Phone / FAX orders will hold live animals for 7 days while payment arrives. After 7 days, animals will automatically be offered for sale again.

   We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express).

   We can also accept PayPal. Be sure to verify by phone that your order has been accepted and is awaiting payment before using this option.

   Our minimum order is $100.00 for orders shipped anywhere in the United States.

   Most types of animals can be shipped via Express Mail, and FED-X (other carriers can be used, please inquire).

   Shipping costs range from $25-$75 depending on number of animals and the size of the shipment.

   All venomous snakes and live rodents are shipped "air freight collect" to your nearest major airport (YOU must tell us which one) via the least costly cargo category applicable on the date that we've confirmed (unless you request a more costly express category, such as "Delta DASH").

   Call your local airport to find out about air freight charges from Tampa, Florida (airport code = TPA). We ship on Delta wherever they offer service; other areas can usually be reached through an alternate carrier. (Delta DASH shipments are $80.)

   Styrofoam-lined boxes and heat packs are used in Winter. A $10.00 packing charge will be added to all orders.

   ALL venomous orders require a $25.00 packing box fee per box.

   Foreign export of animals requires a $150.00 broker fee with all orders.

   Minimum LIVE export order is $1000.00. Incoming shipments to us should be sent on Mondays - Wednesdays. Glades Herp Farm Inc. will only pay for freight on incoming shipments that exceed $500.00 declared value.

   All animals sold by us are guaranteed to arrive alive and be outwardly healthy upon receipt if picked up within 4 hours of arrival. In addition, we extend this guarantee for a full 7 days on captive-born animals only. We can not extend these guarantees to overseas shipments, orders discounted below our retail list price, or to shipments delayed beyond our control. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the animals and / or goods received, we will consider credit or replacement if you call to discuss it.

   No cash refunds.

YOU MUST NOTIFY US OF ANY PROBLEMS WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF SHIPMENT (or within 7 days on captive-born animals) to remain eligible for possible adjustments. Glades Herp, Inc. will not be responsible for additional freight / postage charges on replacement animals.

   The sale of endangered or protected wildlife is contingent upon the issuance of permits by applicable authorities. This increasingly complex ball of red tape often creates shipping delays. Extra maintenance charges may be incurred on specimens held over 3 weeks.

   These animals are not sold to minors or to residents of areas where they are prohibited. Check your local and state laws before placing an order. Florida residents and visitors must show us a current Florida venomous permit to purchase venomous reptiles while in Florida.
