NOTE: DANGEROUS ARACHNIDS such as Buthid scorpions (Androctonus, Parabuthus, Buthid, Hottentotta, Mesobuthus, Apistobuthus, Buthacus, some Centruroides, Leiurus spp.), along with "true spiders" like Latrodectus, Loxosceles, and Phoneutria spp., and Lycosa raptoria are not recommended for MINORS UNDER 18 YRS. OLD. Also, these dangerous arachnids can not be sold to Florida residents without proof of the FL Arthropod Permit (for an application and to answer any questions, call 352-372-3505). Scorpions of the genera Hadogenes, Hadrurus, Heterometrus and Pandinus can be sold to Florida residents. Any other genera of scorpions will require the permit. There are no restrictions on tarantulas, but we do NOT recommend aggressive, fast and the more toxic species to keepers under 18 yrs. old OR to those not experienced with these types of species. Mantids and other insects require the permit for FL residents. Check with your local and state wildlife authorities to see what is not allowed to be kept in your area. Arachnids are capable of biting and stinging so we only sell these animals to those we evaluate to be of legal age, mature and sane. Your sanity is left up to our discretion.
